Reporter Jenny SuShe Fires Back with Lawyers After a Forced Kiss by Kubrat Pulev

Kubrat PulevUPDATED:  3/28/2019 8:01 AM PDT

Female sports reporter Jenny SuShe, who was kissed forcibly on the lips by Kubrat Pulev, the Bulgarian heavyweight champion has decided to take legal action by hiring Gloria Allred over the assault.

SuShe, who is a reporter for the Vegas Sports Daily, was in a mid-interview with Pulev over the weekend when suddenly, the professional pugilist pulled her face in and planted a hard kiss on her lips.

She then later described the incident over social media as “embarrassing” and “strange.”

Pulev, who was excited after having just winning a match against Romania’s Bogdan Dinu in California, thought nothing of the kiss, claiming SuShe was a close friend of his.

“You may have seen a clip of me kissing a female reporter after I won my fight on Saturday night,” he tweeted. “The reporter, Jenny is actually a friend of mine and after the interview, I gave her a kiss. Later that night, she joined me and my other friends at my post-fight celebration. On that video, after our kiss, we both laughed about it and thanked each other. There really is nothing more to this.”

Pulev’s unexpected kiss came right after SuShe asked him if he was up for a fight against Tyson Fury for his next match.

Vegas Sports Daily claimed that SuShe was, in fact, the “victim of an unwanted, unexpected and unsolicited forceful kiss” and said they would be investigating the incident that took place.

“What happened to Ms. SuShe was completely blindsiding and unwarranted and we share in her shock, hurt, embarrassment and general outrage,” the statement read. “We want to make it clear that women should feel safe and comfortable to exercise the duties of their job, free of abuse, advances, harassment, etc in the workplace.”

On Thursday, a press conference will be held in the afternoon in Los Angeles with the women’s rights attorney and her client, Jenny SuShe, “who was suddenly kissed on the lips without her consent,” Allred’s office stated in an email statement.

As for what legal action she plans on bringing or against, it’s still unclear.
