Louisa Moritz passesUPDATED: 2019/01/31 3PM

Louisa Moritz, an actress best known for her role in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s’ Nest died at the age of 72, attorney Joseph Cammarata confirmed. Moritz is just one of the women who accused Bill Cosby of assault.

Moritz came forward in 2014 and alleged that Cosby sexually assaulted her in 1971 before an appearance on Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show, joining six other women filing a federal lawsuit against the now disgraced actor. The women all accused Cosby of sexuall abusing them and then using his power and position in the industry to defame them and label their stories as lies.

Moritz’s death will not affect the lawsuit–her estate will now take her place in the case. Her depositions have already been taken and, as her attorney points out to The Post, “You can prove it by way of other people: “Oh yeah, Louis told me XYZ,” as well.

Moritz’s attorney is looking to continue forward with the case at the next hearing on February 28th. Cosby was found guilty last year in a criminal case of sexually assaulting Andrea Constand and sentenced to three to 10 years behind bars.
